The Dot Series

The persistent splatter of rain may seem dreary and a little depressing at times. Lack of, however, may cause drought and sandstorms. This playful series marries the two together, taking inspiration from rainy London and the dry Middle East where the artist has spent a lot of her childhood.

Blue Rainfall

Layers of blue hues painted over each other. In different lights, the layers and shades are not visible upon first glance. Raindrops falling on top.

Layers of purple and red shades painted under a thick layer of a single purple hue. Upon first glance, the painting seems to be one purple tone, however upon further viewing, the layers beneath become evident. Raindrops falling on top.
